	Remove
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
2	Remove screws (16) and remove lock striker (15).

4	Remove instrument panel cover (9).	When adjusting gap dimensions.

7	Remove bottom insulation insert (6).	When adjusting gap dimensions. The lower insulation insert (6) is inserted into the A-pillar (10) before the nuts (4).
8	Release bracket (12) and bring out of the direct working area.	When adjusting gap dimensions. Do not disconnect electrical connectors from the Front central controller unit (N10/6). The bracket (12) is fastened to the A-pillar (10) with 3 nuts.
9	Remove top insulation insert (7).	When adjusting gap dimensions. The upper insulation insert (7) is inserted into the A-pillar (10) before the nuts (5).
	Adjust
10	Loosen nuts (4, 5) on the A-pillar (10) one after the other, adjust driver's door (1), and tighten respective nut (4, 5) again.	When adjusting gap dimensions. Do not loosen nuts (4, 5) simultaneously. If the driver door (1) comes into contact with other components, the paint can be damaged. Do not tension hinges (2, 3) when adjusting. Otherwise the hinges (2, 3) can be damaged. [I] Model 205.3/4 Three nuts (4) are installed.

11	Loosen screws (13, 14) on the driver's door (1 one after the other, adjust transition to the Front fender, and tighten respective screws (13, 14) again.	When adjusting transition to Front fender.
	Note on calculation of tightening torque when using insertion or socket tools with various effective lengths	Do not release screws (13, 14) simultaneously. If the driver door (1) comes into contact with other components, the paint can be damaged. Do not tension hinges (2, 3) when adjusting. Otherwise the hinges (2, 3) can be damaged. The contour of the Front fender must align with the contour of the driver door (1) or project by a maximum of 1 mm. To tighten the screws (13, 14), a torque wrench (17) should be used in combination with a bent bit holder (18).	AH00.00-P-0015-01CW

12	Position lock striker (15) on B-pillar and screw in screws (16) up to end stop.	It should still be possible to adjust lock striker (15).
13	Align lock striker (15) by carefully closing the driver's door (1).	Model 205.0/1/2, 213, 253, 293 The contour of the driver door (1) must align with the contour of the rear door or project by maximum of 1 mm. Model 205.3/4 The contour of the driver door (1) must align with the contour of the side wall or project by a maximum of 1 mm.
14	Tighten screws (16) of lock striker (15).	Bolt, lock striker to B-pillar	*BA72.10-P-1004-01W
	Install
15	Repair paint damage on bolt heads of screws (13, 14).	If the transition to the Front fender is adjusted.
16	Protect driver's door (1) and A-pillar (10) in the area of both hinges (2, 3) against corrosion.	Wax for engine compartment (400 ml spray can)	*BR00.45-Z-1018-05A
17	Install top insulation insert (7).	If gap dimensions have been adjusted.
18	Install holder (12).	If gap dimensions have been adjusted.
19	Install bottom insulation insert (6).	If gap dimensions have been adjusted.
20	Install door sill trim (8).	If gap dimensions have been adjusted. Model 205.0/1/2, 213, 253, 293	AR68.30-P-4100LW
