	Brake test on roller brake test stand
	Risk of death  caused by limbs being caught or crushed by rotating parts when performing tests on the brake test stand	Never leave the vehicle unattended on the rollers except in an emergency. 2	Perform gear ratio change from "High" to "Low". 3	Move vehicle with front axle onto roller brake test stand.

4	Move automatic transmission to selector lever position "N" or shift manual transmission to neutral.
5	Determine and document the braking characteristics and brake values of the front axle.	On all-wheel drive vehicles, the speed of the roller brake test stand rollers may be max. 5 km/h and may not last for longer than 15 s per test of one axle. Between the tests, a waiting period of at least 15 s must be observed, during which the axle may not be driven by the roller brake test stand rollers. The drive train and brake system can otherwise be damaged. Press brake pedal uniformly. Document maximum values before wheels lock.
6	Move rear axle of vehicle into roller brake test stand.

9.2	Determine and document braking characteristics and brake values for electric parking brake.	Model 197, 216, 221 Vehicles with electrically-operated parking brake. On all-wheel drive vehicles, the speed of the roller brake test stand rollers may be max. 5 km/h and may not last for longer than 15 s per test of one axle. Between the tests, a waiting period of at least 15 s must be observed, during which the axle may not be driven by the roller brake test stand rollers. Before operating the electric parking brake, the rear-axle complete wheels must be driven by the roller brake test stand until the vehicle has detected the roller brake test stand so that application of the brake pads is then slowed down. Otherwise damage may occur. Briefly press switch of electric parking brake once, do not press and hold. Otherwise damage will occur. Document maximum values before wheels lock.
9.3	Determine and document braking characteristics and brake values for electric parking brake.	Model 117, 118, 156, 166, 167, 172, 176, 177, 190, 205, 213, 217, 222, 231, 238, 242, 246, 247, 253, 257, 290, 292, 293 Model 463 as of model year 2019 Vehicles with electrically-operated parking brake. On all-wheel drive vehicles, the speed of the roller brake test stand rollers my be max. 5 km/h and may not last for longer than 15 s per test of one axle. Between the tests, a waiting period of at least 15 s must be observed, during which the axle may not be driven by the roller brake test stand rollers. Before operating the electric parking brake, the rear-axle complete wheels must be driven by the roller brake test stand until the vehicle has detected the roller brake test stand so that application of the brake pads is then slowed down. Otherwise damage may occur. The electric parking brake brakes briefly and then changes to the roller brake test stand mode. After 3 s press the switch of the electric parking brake again briefly, the electric parking brake brakes with greater brake power. If necessary, after 3 s briefly press the switch of the electric parking brake a 3rd and a 4th time until the wheels lock up. Document maximum values before wheels lock.
10	Release parking brake and drive vehicle out of roller brake test stand.
11	Evaluate braking characteristics and documented brake values of service brake.
