If the crack length (x) is > 25 mm (0.98 Inch) or if it extends up to the inner or outer edge of the friction ring, if there are gaping cracks or score marks deeper than 0.5 mm (0.02 Inch), or where pitted corrosion is present, ↓ replace brake disks (1) with a cast iron friction ring. |
