  Risk of death  by slipping or tipping the vehicle off the lifting platform Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

IMPORTANT When ordering the new oil pan, the new version is supplied automatically.		 AR27.10-P-7031S
3 Position a suitable drip tray under the transmission.    
4 Unscrew the quick release (1). NOTES
The torque specified on the oil pan is the max. torque for the quick-release coupling (1).
If overtightened, the oil pan will be damaged.

REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS		 Attach adapter and connect the oil dispenser.

    NOTES
Set the air pressure on the oil dispenser to a maximum of 2 bar before filling the transmission.
Otherwise the oil pan will be damaged.
IMPORTANT The oil dispenser remains connected during the entire filling and testing process.

REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS		 Pump transmission oil into the transmission.
Fluid transmission ATF (Specification 236.17)		 IMPORTANT If the transmission oil has been drained from the oil pan, pre-fill the transmission with approx. 4.5 L and if the transmission oil has been drained from the oil pan and the torque converter, and if the transmission is completely empty, fill it with 7.5 L. 8 Start the test routine, check the transmission oil level and correct it if necessary.   AR27.00-P-0270-02EWN

REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Automatic transmission fluids (ATF) (specification 236.17) IMPORTANT Select ultrasonic measurement method in XENTRY.
IMPORTANT On vehicles with thermostatically-controlled oil cooler.
After opening the oil cooling circuit (e.g. new oil cooler), heat up the transmission to more than 90 °C so that the thermostat on the oil cooler opens.		 BB00.40-P-0236-17A

REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS		 Disconnect adapter and screw in oil dispenser and quick-release fastener (1).

Engine running when closing off oil dispenser.
Otherwise, more oil will run out.
IMPORTANT Engine must run at idle, else too much oil will escape.
IMPORTANT A small quantity of oil runs out of the overflow pipe.		 WS18.00-P-0026B

10 Perform engine test run and check transmission for leak tightness and proper operation.
