	Remove/install
1	Remove upper engine cover	Only install upper engine cover after the leak test.
2	Remove the lower front center and center engine compartment paneling	Only install front center and center engine compartment paneling after performing a leak test.	AR61.20-P-1105LWE
3	Drain off coolant of engine cooling system		AR20.00-P-1142OLC
4	Remove left-hand air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1151MND
5	Remove right air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1152MND
6	Remove charge air cooler and pull with attached coolant lines to the front		AR09.41-P-6817MND
7	Remove inerting system line from heat shield (4) and place to one side	Engine 276.8 in model 213, 238 with code 2U8 (Alternative refrigerant)	AR86.10-P-0319LWE
		Bolt/nut for shield attachment	*BA09.40-P-1011-01W
8	Remove inerting system line from heat shield (11) and place to one side	Engine 276.8 in model 213, 238 with code 2U8 (Alternative refrigerant)	AR86.10-P-0419LWE
		Bolt/nut for shield attachment	*BA09.40-P-1011-01W
9	Remove heat shields (3, 4, 9, 11)	Bolt, turbocharger shield bracket to cylinder head	*BA09.40-P-1012-01W
		Bolt/nut for shield attachment	*BA09.40-P-1011-01W
10	Remove heat shields (3, 4, 9, 11) upwards	The heat shields (2, 10) remain in the vehicle.
11	Remove screw/bolt (6), remove coolant line feed line (5) and seal off openings using suitable stop plugs	Replace sealing ring.

12	Remove screw/bolt (7), remove coolant line feed line (8) and seal off openings using suitable stop plugs	Replace sealing ring.

13	Remove coolant hose (18) from connection (13)		AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
14	Remove screw/bolts (12, 14, 15, 16, 17)	Bolt for coolant line attachment	*BA09.40-P-1010-01W
15	Remove coolant return flow line (1) on left ATL and close off openings with suitable stop plugs	Replace sealing ring. Record plug	Fig 2
16	Remove coolant return flow line (1) on right ATL and close off openings with suitable stop plugs	Replace sealing ring. Record plug	Fig 2
17	Remove coolant return flow line (1) upwards
18	Install in the reverse order
	Check
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear buttoned-up and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
19	Carry out engine test run, checking the engine for leaktightness and proper operation
20	Install upper engine cover
21	Remove the lower front center and center engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105LWE
