| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Remove right front seat. | AR91.10-P-1000MFA | |
| 3 | Remove right B-pillar trim. | AR68.30-P-4705MFA | |
| 4 | Remove floor covering (1) far enough until holder (4) is accessible. | ||
| 5 | Remove nuts (3). | ||
| 6 | Unhook holder (4) from stop plug (5). | ||
| 7 | Release and disconnect electrical connector. | This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function. |

| 8 | Remove bolts_(7). | If the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive control unit (N62/4) is replaced. | |
| 9 | Remove Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive control unit (N62/4) from holder (4). | If the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive control unit (N62/4) is replaced. | |
| 10 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 11 | Commission Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive control unit (N62/4). | If the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive control unit (N62/4) is replaced. | |
