	Risk of burn injuries,  suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.	Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area.	AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Remove the exhaust gas recirculation valve.		AR14.20-D-7662TSV
2	Remove exhaust gas recirculation line (4).	To do so, remove screw/bolts (2, 3). Turn the exhaust gas recirculation line (4) counterclockwise when removing it from the mixer housing (5). Tighten screws/bolts (2, 3) lightly by hand. Then tighten bolts (3) and then bolts (2) to torque.

		Bolt, exhaust gas recirculation line to housing of exhaust gas recirculation valve	*BA14.20-N-1009-01TSV
		Set of flexible head wrenches	Fig 1
3	Remove seals (6).	Replace seals (6).
	Clean
4	Clean sealing surfaces on the mixer housing (5) and on the housing (1) of the exhaust gas recirculation valve.	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
5	Clean sealing surfaces on the exhaust gas recirculation line (4).	If exhaust gas recirculation line (4) is reused.
6	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
7	Check for leaktightness when engine is running.	Visual inspection only.
