	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. 	Risk of burn injuries,  suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. 	Remove/install
1	Remove engine cover.		AR01.10-D-2405TSR
2	Remove vacuum reservoir.		AR07.09-D-0001TSR
3	Reduce pressure in engine cooling system.	To do so, unscrew cap of coolant expansion reservoir counterclockwise up to safety catch and release overpressure.
4	Disconnect hoses (2, 3).	Clamp	Fig 2
5	Remove hose (2) from exhaust gas recirculation cooler (1).	To do this loosen clamp. Collect the escaping coolant in a suitable container. Check clamp for damage.
		Hose clamp pliers If clamp is damaged, ↓ Replace clamp.	Fig 1
6	Remove hose (3) from exhaust gas recirculation cooler (1).	To do this loosen clamp. Collect the escaping coolant in a suitable container. Check clamp for damage.

7	Remove oil dipstick tube.		AR18.40-D-3520TSR
8	Remove bracket (7) for engine cover.	M6	*BA00.10-N-1002-01A
9	Unclip bracket (8) and position with hose outside the working area.	Engine 651 in model 907 with code KL5 (Fuel filter with water separator)

10	Disconnect electrical connector (10).
11	Remove screw (9).	M6	*BA00.10-N-1002-01A
12	Position sensor (11) outside the working area.
13	Remove screw (5).	Bolt, holder to exhaust gas recirculation cooler	*BA14.20-N-1005-01TS
14	Remove exhaust gas recirculation cooler (1) with holder (4).		AR14.20-D-7665-01TSR
		Clip: Exhaust gas recirculation cooler tightening procedure	GB14.20-D-0000-00A
		To do so, remove the screw/bolts (6). Observe tightening procedure. Clean sealing surfaces with suitable rag. Replace seal.
		Bolt, holder/exhaust gas recirculation cooler to bypass flap	*BA14.20-N-1001-01TS
		Set of flexible head wrenches	Fig 3
15	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
16	Check engine cooling system for leak tightness.		AR20.00-D-1011TS
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
17	Check leak tightness of exhaust gas recirculation cooler (1) when the engine is running.	Visual inspection only.
