	Preparatory activity
1	Drive vehicle onto setting station for headlamp adjustment.

2	Check exterior lighting for proper operation.

		If a component part of the exterior lighting is defective: ↓ Redress cause of defect.
3	Check vehicle for loading.	If the vehicle is loaded: ↓ Unload vehicle.
4	Correct tire pressure of front and rear wheels.

5	Adjust inclination of front fog lamps (1) on scale of headlamp adjuster.

		Note the operating instructions of the headlamp aimer.
6	Switch on front fog lamps (1).
	Checking, adjusting
7	Check setting of front fog lamps (1).	The light-dark boundary of the light beam must lie on the horizontal separation line (2) in the headlamp adjuster. If the light/dark boundary of the light beam does not lie on the horizontal separation line (2) in the headlamp adjuster: ↓ Correct adjustment by turning setting screw (3).
	Concluding tasks
8	Switch off front fog lamps (1).
9	Restore original load condition.	If the vehicle was unloaded beforehand.
10	Drive vehicle off setting station for headlamp adjustment.
