| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 3 | Release seat base cover (9) and remove from working area. | ||

| 5 | Disconnect ground line (3) from auxiliary battery (1) and remove from working area. | ||
| 6 | Fold up positive pole cover. | ||
| 7 | Release nut (4). | *BA54.10-N-1001-01TS | |
| 8 | Disconnect positive line (5) from auxiliary battery (1) and remove from working area. | ||
| 9 | Remove bolt (6) and remove holder (7). | ||
| 10 | Detach vent hose (8) from auxiliary battery (1). | Check vent hose (8) is correctly seated on auxiliary battery (1). Otherwise escaping battery acid mist can cause damage to the vehicle. |

| 11 | Remove auxiliary battery (1) from seat base. | ||
| 12 | Install in the reverse order. |
