Do not kink any electric lines and ensure that they are routed without any chafing.

This prevents damage.

1. Route electrical wiring harness (1) as shown.

   Loosely fasten electrical wiring harness (1) in sections at factory-installed electrical wiring harness or at a suitable position using cable ties.

2. Disconnect fabric tape (23).
3. Remove cover (21).
4. Disconnect electric line of contact socket (2) that is no longer required from line connector (22).
5. Disconnect electric line of contact sockets (20, 24) that is no longer required in accordance with free fuse for terminal 30t.
6. Attach cover (21) to line connector (22).
7. Fasten cover (21) with fabric tape and insulate.
8. Attach new fabric tape (23) as shown.
9. Install corresponding contact socket (20, 24) into free contact cavity for terminal 30t.
10. Install corresponding fuse (5 A) into selected fuse slot.
11. Connect plug (3) of electrical wiring harness (1) to head unit (A26/17).
12. Connect potential distributor plug (4) of electrical wiring harness (1) to user interface CAN (CAN HMI) potential distributor electrical connector (X30/2O).

13. Route electrical wiring harness (15) as shown.

    To do so, open cable duct on B-pillar.

    Loosely fasten electrical wiring harness (15) in sections at factory-installed electrical wiring harness or at a suitable position using cable ties.

14. Connect plug (5) of electrical wiring harness (1) to plug (8) of electrical wiring harness (15).
15. Connect plug (6) of electrical wiring harness (1) to plug (9) of electrical wiring harness (15).
16. Connect plug (10) of electrical wiring harness (15) to plug (13) of reversing camera (B84/3).
17. Connect plug (11) of electrical wiring harness (15) to plug (12) of reversing camera (B84/3).

18. Remove nut of driver seat base ground point 3 (W105/3).
19. Connect cable lug (7) of electrical wiring harness (1) to driver seat base ground point 3 (W105/3).
20. Attach nut of driver seat base ground point 3 (W105/3)
21. Tighten all cable ties of electrical wiring harnesses (1, 15).

    If necessary,

    ↓

    Strap down excess lengths of electrical wiring harnesses (1, 15) at a suitable point.
