Do not kink any electric lines and ensure that they are routed without any chafing.

This prevents damage.

1. Route electrical wiring harness (1) as shown.

   Model 907.### 1#with code H1B (Tachograph controls at front under headliner)

   See Fig. A.

   Model 907.### 1#with code J2B (Tachograph controls under instrument panel, passenger side)

   See Fig. B.

   Model 907.### 2# with code H1B (Tachograph controls at front under headliner) Install electrical wiring harness (1) mirror-inverted as shown.

   See Fig. A.

   Model 907.### 2# with code J2B (Tachograph controls under instrument panel, passenger side)

   Install electrical wiring harness (1) mirror-inverted as shown.

   See Fig. B.

2. Loosely fasten electrical wiring harness (1) in sections at factory-installed electrical wiring harness or at a suitable position using cable ties.
3. Model 907

   with code ED5 (Parameterisable special module) Disconnect plug (6) of parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit (N26/15).

4. Disassemble plug (6).

   To do so, release plug housing and guide out plug inner part.

5. Install contact socket (3) (electric line "GN/VT") in contact cavity 30 of plug inner part.
6. Install contact socket (4) (electric line "VT/BU") in contact cavity 31 of plug inner part.
7. Assemble plug (6).

   To do so, guide plug inner part into plug housing and lock.

8. Tighten loosely attached cable ties on electrical wiring harness (1).

   If necessary,

   ↓

   Strap down extended length of electrical wiring harness (1) at a suitable point.

9. Model 907

   with code ED5 (Parameterisable special module)

   Connect plug (6) of parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit (N26/15).
