	Remove/install
1	Remove left or right front seat (1)		AR91.10-P-1000LF
2	Remove seat-back lining from backrest		AR91.10-P-1910LF
3	Unclip cover (2) on outer lining (3) and remove	Feed wire cable (4) through the cover (2).
4	Unclip outer lining (3) from front seat (1)	Ensure that outer lining (3) is correctly seated.
5	Unscrew bolt (9)	Bolt for guide (belt buckle/belt anchor fitting tensioner)	*BA91.40-P-1002-01T
6	Unscrew nut (7)	Replace nut (7). Nut for guide (belt buckle/belt anchor fitting tensioner)	*BA91.40-P-1003-01T
7	Remove bracket (5)
8	Remove wire cable (4) of seat belt buckle with transverse pipe tensioner (8) from bracket (10)	Ensure that wire cable (4) is correctly seated in supports (arrows A) of bracket (10).
9	Remove bolt (11)	When reinstalling the seat belt buckle with transverse pipe tensioner (8), screw/bolt (11) and the threaded hole (arrow C) must have all locking varnish residue removed. Moisten screw/bolt (11) with Loctite 241 locking varnish. Thread locking adhesive, Loctite 241	*BR00.45-Z-1001-02A

10	Unhook wiring harnesses of electrical connectors (14, 15) from inner cover (13)	Ensure that wiring harnesses are routed properly.
11	Unclip, release and disconnect electrical connectors (14, 15)	Ensure that electrical connectors (14, 15) are correctly seated in each bracket on the seat cushion frame (6).
12	Pull seat belt buckle with transverse pipe tensioner (8) out of transverse pipe of seat cushion frame (6)	The vehicle is equipped with a combined pyrotechnically seat belt buckle/belt anchor fitting tensioner. These form a structural unit, the transverse pipe tensioner, which may only be removed/installed or replaced as a complete unit. If the triggering mark (arrow B) on the wire cable (4) is not visible, the seat belt buckle with transverse pipe tensioner (8) must be replaced.
13	Dispose of seat belt buckle with transverse pipe tensioner (8) properly	When replacing the seat belt buckle with transverse pipe tensioner (8).
14	Install in the reverse order
15	Connect Star Diagnosis and check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)	When replacing the seat belt buckle with transverse pipe tensioner (8).
