| 1 | Pry radial shaft sealing ring (2) out of transmission firewall cover (3) using a suitable tool | Do not damage the seat of the radial shaft sealing ring (2). Otherwise, the transmission will be damaged. Ensure maximum cleanliness when performing work on the transmission. Otherwise, even the smallest foreign particle in the hydraulic components of the transmission can lead to malfunctions or a total failure of the transmission. |

| 2 | Check seat of radial shaft sealing ring (2) for damage and galling | If a problem arises ↓ Install a new transmission firewall cover (3). |
