Remove/Install Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive Control Unit - AR54.21-P-0044LXM

Model 253 (except 253.992/993) 

as of model year 2020 

with code 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Commission Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive control unit (N62/4). When replacing Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive control unit (N62/4).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).    
3 Remove left load compartment trim at side. Model 253 (except 253.992/993)

4 Release bolts (1), remove holder (2) with Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive control unit (N62/4) and place into vehicle.    
5 Disconnect electrical connector (3).    
6 Release Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive control unit (N62/4) at catches (arrows) and remove from holder (2).    
7 Install in the reverse order.
