REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Perform commissioning of ignition lock control unit (N73). When replacing ignition lock control unit (N73).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS   Model 205
as of model year 2019
Model 253 (except 253.992/993)
as of model year 2020
AD00.00-P-2000-04B
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS   Model 293 AD00.00-P-2000-06FR
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).    
3 Remove front seat on right side. Model 205.0/1/2/3

4 Fold rear right floor covering toward rear until ignition lock control unit (N73) is accessible.   AR68.20-P-4800LW
5 Disconnect electrical connector (1).    
6 Release retaining clips (2) by pressing in catch hooks (arrows) and remove ignition lock control unit (N73).    
7 Install in the reverse order.
