| 3 | Remove screws at cover of AdBlue® tank in the area of rear bumper (1). | Model 253 with engine 642, 651, 654, 656 | |
| 4 | Unscrew bolts (2). | ||
| 5 | Unclip and remove protective strips (3). | Model 253 Carefully unclip protective strips (3) and remove. Otherwise they may be damaged. |

| 6 | Remove expansion rivets at left fender liner and at right fender liner in the area of rear bumper (1). | ||
| 7 | Press left fender liner and right fender liner to side and remove expansion rivets (4) located underneath. | Figure | |
| 8 | Press left fender liner and right fender liner to side and remove screws (5) located underneath. | Figure | |

| 10 | Unscrew nuts (7). | ||
