Seal differential - AR35.30-P-0001MTA

	Remove
1	Drain oil from differential (11)	MODEL 117, 156, 176, 246 with CODE M005 (4MATIC)
		MODEL 117.302/305/346/347/352/952, 156.902/905/946/952, 176.002/005/046/047/052 with CODE M005 (4MATIC)	AP35.00-P-3501A
2	Remove differential (11)		AR35.31-P-0520MTA
3	Loosen screws/bolts (1 to 10) in reverse numerical sequence uniformly
4	Unscrew bolts (1 to 10)
5	Detach cover (12) using a suitable tool
6	Remove cover (12)
	Clean
7	Clean the sealing surfaces on the cover (12) and differential (11)	The sealing surfaces must be free of dust and grease.
	Install
8	Apply sealant to the sealing surface of differential (11) along the lines shown	The sealant bead must not be spread. Only the approved sealant may be used.
		Loctite sealant 5810 B	*BR00.45-Z-1106-01A
9	Mount cover (12) onto differential (11)
10	Position screws/bolts (1 to 10) by hand	Replace screws/bolts (1 to 10).
11	Tighten screws/bolts (1 to 10) in the numerical sequence	Screw/bolt for rear axle differential housing cover	*BA35.31-P-1005-02J
12	Install differential (11)		AR35.31-P-0520MTA
13	Pour oil into differential (11)	MODEL 117, 156, 176, 246 with CODE M005 (4MATIC)
		MODEL 117.302/305/346/347/352, 156.902/905/946/952, 176.002/005/046/047/052 with CODE M005 (4MATIC)	AP35.00-P-3501A
