	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

	Remove
1	Remove left or right rear axle spring		AR32.20-P-0230NKB
2.1	Remove corresponding underfloor paneling in rear area	MODEL 117, 156, 176, 246
			AR61.30-P-1001NKB
2.2	Remove corresponding underfloor paneling	MODEL 117, 156, 176, 242, 246
			AR61.30-P-1001NKB
3	Unscrew nut (2) from trailing arm (1a) and detach sensor linkage bracket	Vehicles with xenon headlamps Observe installation position during removal of the right trailing arm (1a).
4	Remove link rods (3)		AR32.20-P-0315NKB
5	Remove bolts (4) from trailing arm (1a or 1b)
6	Remove bolts (6) from trailing arm (1a or 1b)
7	Detach trailing arm (1a or 1b)
	Check
8	Check trailing arm (1a or 1b)	Check rubber mount of trailing arm (1a or 1b) for wear and replace trailing arm (1a or 1b) if necessary.
	Install
9	Fit trailing arm (1a or 1b)
10	Fit bolts (4, 5)	Bolt (5) must be fitted to align the bolt holes.
11	Fit bolts (6) and align trailing arm (1a or 1b)
	Notes on bolted connections with self tapping screws		AH00.00-P-0007-01SF
12	Screw in screws (6)	Bolt, trailing arm to frame floor assembly
13	Screw in screws (4)	Bolt, trailing arm to wheel carrier
14	Install link rods (3)		AR32.20-P-0315NKB
15	Attach bracket connecting sensor linkage to trailing arm (1a) and tighten nut	Vehicles with xenon headlamps Observe installation position during installation of the right trailing arm (1a).
16.1	Install appropriate underfloor paneling	MODEL 117, 156, 176, 242, 246

16.2	Attach corresponding underfloor paneling in rear area	MODEL 117, 156, 176, 246
			AR61.30-P-1001NKB
17	Install rear axle spring		AR32.20-P-0230NKB
