	Remove/install
1	Remove crank window (2)		AR72.12-P-1910NKC
2	Remove triangular window (3)		AR72.12-P-1940NKC
3	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from electronic ignition lock control unit
4	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003NKB
5	Remove outside door handle
6	Take off gaskets (4)
7	Loosen bolts (6), push bearing bracket (5) toward front and unhook
8	Disconnect electrical connector on left rear door (X35/3) or electrical connector on right rear door (X35/4)
9	Unclip rubber grommets (8, 9)
10	Guide door wiring harness (11) out of rear door (1)
11	Remove bolts (12)	Bolt, door lock to rear door	*BA72.12-P-1004-01P
12	Drill out rivet heads on rivets (13)
	000 588 02 39 00 Rivet press tool		WS60.00-P-0010B
		Use 7 mm dia. bit. Fasten door module (7) with rivets (13) to rear door (1).
13	Unscrew nut (14) from adjustment screw (15)	Do not twist adjustment screw (15).

14	Unscrew nut (16) from adjustment screw (17)	Do not twist adjustment screw (17).

15	Detach door module (7) from rear door (1) and remove	Mounting wedge	Figure
16	Press out any pieces of rivets remaining in the inner door panel	Removal tool	Figure
17	Completely remove rivet residues and drilling chips from rear door (1).	Completely remove rivet residues with wet/dry vacuum cleaner. Remaining rivet residues cause corrosion damage on rear door (1).
18	Install in the reverse order
