Remove/install rear door triangular window - AR72.12-P-1940NKC

DANGER Risk of injury  from contusions to hands if window glass is not secured Secure window to prevent it from falling down. AS67.00-Z-0002-01A
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove outer sealing rail   AR72.12-P-1017NKC 
2 Roll up crank window (2) completely    
3 Remove door lining (3)    
4 Completely lower crank window (2) IMPORTANT Lowering is accomplished by the driver side power window and outside mirror adjustment switch group.  
5 Unclip rear shaped part (5) on inner sealing frame (4) from inner door panel    
6 Remove inner sealing rail (4) NOTES
Carefully lift inner sealing rail (4) out of bead on inner door panel
Otherwise the inner sealing rail (4) can bend and must be replaced.

7 Remove adhesive pad (6)    
8 Remove rubber grommet (9)    
9 Unscrew bolt (8)    
10 Remove nuts (7, 10)    
11 Lift triangular window (1), tilt toward rear and remove from rear door NOTES
Carefully move triangular window (1) out of rear door.
Otherwise the paint can be damaged.
IMPORTANT Place triangular window (1) on suitable base.
 
INSTALLING Install     
12 Guide triangular window (1) into rear door and simultaneously guide with window guide rail (11) into crank window (2) and insert mounts in rear door. NOTES
Carefully insert triangular window (1) into rear door.
Otherwise the paint can be damaged.
 
13 Screw bolt (8) and nuts (7, 10) to stop finger-tight IMPORTANT Tighten bolt (8) and nut (7, 10) after basically adjusting triangular window (1).  
14 Moisten rubber strip on inner sealing rail (4) with lubricant Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l *BR00.45-Z-1010-06A 
15 Position inner sealing rail (4) behind crank window (2) and install on bead on inner door panel.    
16 Install door lining (3)    
17 Install outer sealing rail   AR72.12-P-1017NKC 
18 Check adjustment of triangular window (1) and window guide rail (11), adjust if necessary.   AR72.12-P-1500-01NKC
IMPORTANT Attachment of the new adhesive tape (6) and assembling of the rear shaped part (5) on the inner sealing rail (4) is accomplished after adjusting the triangular window (1) and the window guide rail (11).  
Dimension "e" between top edge of corner window to mounting rail (C-pillar), measured 50 mm behind window guide rail *BE72.12-P-1001-01F 
Dimension "f" between window outer surface of corner window to outer surface of mounting rail (C-pillar), measured 50 mm behind window guide rail *BE72.12-P-1002-01F
