| 2 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from electronic ignition lock control unit | ||
| 3 | Disconnect battery ground line | AR54.10-P-0003NKB | |
| 4 | Remove outside door handle | ||
| 5 | Take off gaskets (3) | ||
| 6 | Loosen bolts (5), push bearing bracket (4) toward front and unhook | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connectors (7) from left front door control unit (N69/1) or right front door control unit (N69/2) | ||
| 8 | Guide electrical wiring harness out of bracket (8) | ||
| 9 | Remove bolts (10) | ||
| 10 | Drill out rivet heads from rivets (9) | ||

| 11 | Unscrew nut (11) | ||

| 16 | Completely remove rivet residues and drilling chips from front door (1) | Otherwise remaining rivet residues cause corrosion damage on front door (1). |
