| 2 | Disconnect electrical connector from seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1). | ||
| 3 | Push catch hooks (3) to one side and remove bracket (4). | ||
| 4 | Unclip shaft (2) from brackets of rail (1). | ||
| 5 | Lift seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1) slightly at input of shaft (2), carefully bend shaft (2) and pull out of sea adjustment unit. | Do not raise or twist seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1) too far. Otherwise the guide pins (5) could be damaged. Make sure that the seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1) is correctly positioned on the guide pin (5) and the shaft (2) in the seat adjustment unit. |

| 6 | Remove seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1) with shafts (2, 6) from rail (1). | Make sure that the seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1) is correctly positioned on the guide pin (5) and the shaft (6) in the seat adjustment unit. |

| 7 | Pull shafts (2, 6) out of seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1) and check for wear. | When replacing seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1). If there is a problem, ↓ Replace corresponding shaft (2, 6). |
