Install matching color combinations only.
Engine damage will occur otherwise.
The color coding is attached to the side on the connecting rod bearing shell (4a, 4b).
- If the top connecting rod bearing shell (4b) is yellow, the bottom connecting rod bearing shell (4a) must be yellow.
- If the top connecting rod bearing shell (4b) is blue, the bottom connecting rod bearing shell (4a) must be red.
- If the top connecting rod bearing shell (4b) is red, the bottom connecting rod bearing shell (4a) must be blue.
