Remove/Install Camshaft Solenoid - AR05.20-P-7295MRA

  Notes on avoiding damage through contamination and foreign objects   AH00.00-P-5000-01A
  Notes on threaded connections fastened using a tightening angle-based tightening process   AH00.00-P-0020-01A
  Notes on threaded connections with aluminum screws/bolts   AH00.00-P-0006-01RM
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove upper engine cover INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Only install upper engine cove after the leak test.  
2 Remove charge air pipe upstream of charge air cooler    
3 Release and disconnect electrical connection on intake camshaft solenoid (Y49/1) and exhaust camshaft solenoid (Y49/2)    
4 Remove screw/bolts (1) of respective solenoids (Y49/1 or Y49/2) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Replace screw/bolts (1).
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, camshaft solenoid to timing case cover
*BA15.10-P-1003-03I 
5 Remove intake camshaft solenoid (Y49/1) or exhaust camshaft solenoid (Y49/2) from front cover INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Install new sealing rings.  
6 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Check

REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS
Read out and erase fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04B
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear buttoned-up and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
8 Carry out an engine test run, checking the engine for proper operation and leaktightness    
9 Install upper engine cover
