Use in FG 05/Set C
Purpose:
This holding device makes possible holding down and fixing of the camshaft. This makes it possible to slacken and tighten the screw/bolts on the camshaft sprockets.
NOTE:
The special tool 270 589 00 61 00 Holding device is replaced by a modified special tool version 270 5890 01 61 00 Holding device. Modifications were carried out to make the functionality of the special tool suitable for the newer engine generations. The existing special tool 270 589 00 61 00 Holding device can be updated by using the special tool 270 589 01 61 15 Block.
