Remove/Install Fuel Metering Pump - AR83.70-P-5652LW

DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by fuel vapors igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling combustible gases and risk of injury caused by burns during and after operation of heater unit Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed rooms or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves. AS83.70-Z-0002-01A
DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel. No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel. AS47.00-Z-0001-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Loosen right rear underfloor paneling until stationary heater fuel pump (1) is accessible Model 205 with code 228 (Auxiliary heater)
Model 253 with engine 177, 264, 274, 276, 642, 651 with code 228 (Auxiliary heater)

    Model 213 with code 228 (Auxiliary heater) AR61.30-P-1001LWE
2 Disconnect electrical connection (3)    
3 Pinch off fuel hoses (2) SPECIAL TOOL Clamp Fig 2
4 Remove fuel hoses (2) from stationary heater fuel pump (1) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace snap clamps.
IMPORTANT Collect fuel which runs out in a suitable container.
SPECIAL TOOL Pliers for click clamps

5 Remove stationary heater fuel pump (1) from the bracket (4) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Note direction of installation of stationary heater fuel pump (1).  
6 Install in the reverse order
