Remove/Install Transmission Oil Pump - AR27.10-P-0400MRD

CAUTION Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of transmission oil. Health risk caused by swallowing transmission oil Wear protective gloves, protective Caution clothing and safety glasses.
Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.		 AS00.40-Z-0001-01A

REMOVING Remove     
1 Detach electric machine from transmission. Transmission 725.007/017/037/047  
    Transmission 725.007/017/047 in model 213.016/050/053/054/153/155/216/253
Transmission 725.017 in model 222.173 with code ME05 (Hybrid drive 85 kW-94 kW
variant (incl. plug-in))
Transmission 725.037 in model 167.117/154/317/354		 AR08.10-P-0002OLC
    Transmission 725.017/047 in model 205.013/053/054/213/253 with code ME05 (Hybrid drive 85 kW-94 kW
variant (incl. plug-in))
Transmission 725.047 in model 253.311/353/911/953 with code ME05 (Hybrid drive 85 kW-94 kW

2 Remove screws (11) and remove thrust plate (12).    
3 Remove drive gear, chain (8) and oil pump gear (9) together.    
4 Remove oil pump (10).   AR27.10-P-0400-02EWM 
    SPECIAL TOOL Removal and installation tool Fig 2
INSTALLING Install     
5 Check O-rings of oil pump (10) for damage. If damage is found,
↓
Replace oil pump (10).		  
6 Install oil pump (10).   AR27.10-P-0400-02EWM 
    SPECIAL TOOL Removal and installation tool Fig 2
7 Insert drive gear, chain (8) and oil pump gear (9) together. NOTES Make sure that the chain (8) is correctly seated on the drive gear and oil pump gear (9).
Otherwise mounting problems may occur.		  
8 Position thrust plate (12) on adapter housing.    
9 Tighten screws (11). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, thrust plate to adapter housing *BA27.10-P-1025-04H 
10 Attach electric machine to transmission. Transmission 725.007/017/037/047
