	Risk of explosion caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel. 	Draining
1	Open fuel filler flap and fuel filler cap.
2	Connect ground line of tank emptying device with vehicle.

3	Check extraction hose (1) for damage and ridging.	If problems exist, ↓ Use new extraction hose (1). Use only the prescribed extraction hose (1) from Sucher and Plank (Model 1700094). Only this extraction hose (1) can be pulled out of the filler neck again due to its special form. Non-observance leads to damage on the check valve and fuel tank (2).
4	Push end of extraction hose (1) through filler neck and filler pipe into right chamber of fuel tank (2).
5	Using fuel tank emptying device, pump fuel out of right chamber of fuel tank (2).

7	Push end of extraction hose (1) through right chamber into left chamber of fuel tank (2).	Model 253 with Engine 177, 264, 274, 276, 651, 654.9, 656 with code 916 (Fuel tank with large capacity - Volume 1) Handle extraction hose (1) carefully. If this is not done observed, damage can occur to components installed in the fuel tank (2).
8	Using fuel tank emptying device, pump fuel out of left chamber of fuel tank (2).	Model 253 with Engine 177, 264, 274, 276, 651, 654.9, 656 with code 916 (Fuel tank with large capacity - Volume 1)

9	Install fuel pump.	Model 253 with Engine 177, 264, 274, 276, 651, 654.9, 656 with code 916 (Fuel tank with large capacity - Volume 1)	AR47.20-P-5710RF
10	Push extraction hose (1) through filler neck of fuel tank (2).
11	Using fuel tank emptying device, pump fuel into fuel tank (2).

12	Pull extraction hose (1) out of filler neck.
13	Close fuel filler cap and fuel filler flap.
14	Remove ground line of tank emptying device from vehicle and remove tank emptying device.
