	Remove/install
1	Lift vehicle with vehicle lift.	Installation: Only lower the vehicle after checking the oil level in the rear axle differential (5).	AR00.60-P-1006A
2	Remove rear axle carrier trim. 3	Clean area surrounding rear axle differential drive unit (M46/3).	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
4	Release and disconnect electrical connector of rear axle differential drive unit (M46/3).
5	Unscrew screws (1, 2, 3, 4) and remove rear axle differential drive unit (M46/3) downward.	Installation: Tighten screws (1, 2, 3, 4) in numerical sequence. Replace sealing ring on rear axle differential drive unit (M46/3). Bolt, actuator motor to rear axle differential	*BA35.31-P-1004-07A
6	Clean contact surface on rear axle differential (5).	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
7	Install in the reverse order.
