Assign Crankshaft Bearing Shells - AR03.20-P-4360-01MR

Engine 133, 260, 270, 274 

  1. Read off assignment numbers of the upper crankshaft bearing shells (1a) on the crankcase position (arrow A).

    IMPORTANT Location of the assignment numbers matches the sequence of the crankshaft bearing point in the crankcase.

  2. Use the fitting upper crankshaft bearing shells (1a) on the basis of the read off assignment numbers.

    IMPORTANT Upper crankshaft bearing shells (1a) marked blue must be used for assignment number 1, upper crankshaft bearing shells (1a) marked yellow must be used for assignment number 2, and upper crankshaft bearing shells (1a) marked red must be used for assignment number 3.

    IMPORTANT The color coding is applied at position (arrow B).

  3. Read off the assignment letters of the lower crankshaft bearing shells (1b) on the front crankshaft journal (6).

    IMPORTANT The location of the assignment letters matches the sequence of the crankshaft bearing points.

  4. Use fitting lower crankshaft bearing shells (1b) based on the read off assignment letters.

    IMPORTANT Lower crankshaft bearing shells (1b) marked blue must be used for assignment letter B, lower crankshaft bearing shells (1b) marked yellow must be used for assignment letter G, lower crankshaft bearing shells (1b) marked red must be used for assignment letter R, lower crankshaft bearing shells (1b) marked white must be used for assignment letter W, and lower crankshaft bearing shells (1b) marked violet must be used for assignment letter V.

    IMPORTANT The color coding is applied at position (arrow C).
