| 2 | Connect tubular frame (2) with cable tie at suitable point. e.g. to left or right console (3) | ||
| 3 | Open lock tab (4) and unclip tubular frame open limit switch (S119) from right trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1) | When removing right trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1). | |
| 4 | Lift upper retainer (5) and unclip left or right trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1) from tubular frame (2) | ||
| 5 | Lift lower retainer (6) on trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1) and unclip trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1) from lower mount (7) | ||
| 6 | Move retaining clips (8) on trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1) with suitable pliers and pull hydraulic lines (9) out of trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1). | Otherwise the hydraulic lines (9) can be damaged. |

| 7 | Remove trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1) from trunk | ||

| 8 | Fasten hydraulic lines (9) on trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1) and secure with retaining clips (8) | Connect line no. 51 at piston side and line no. 53 at rod side of left trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1). Connect line no. 40 at piston side and line no. 42 at rod side of right trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1). |
