MAGIC SKY CONTROL, Function - GF77.39-P-3323RD
MODEL 172.4 with CODE (412) Glass Vario roof
Function requirements, general
- Circuit 15R ON
- No undervoltage or overvoltage
- Vario roof closed
The electronic ignition lock control unit transmits the circuit status circuit 15 via the interior CAN.
The Vario roof control control unit transmits the status of Vario roof via the interior CAN.
MAGIC SKY CONTROL, general
The MAGIC SKY roof consists of a number of layers. When AC voltage is connected, the MAGIC SKY roof changes from intransparent to transparent.
- Minimal transparency (deactivated = 0 V)
- Maximum transparency (activated = 120 V)
Function sequence for MAGIC SKY CONTROI
The status of the MAGIC SKY CONTROL button is read in by the overhead control panel control unit and relayed to the front SAM control unit via the wiper/inside rearview mirror LIN. The front SAM control unit transmits the signals via the interior CAN to the MAGIC SKY roof control unit which then actuates the MAGIC SKY roof with AC voltage.
The MAGIC SKY CONTROL unit includes a DC/AC converter and operates with an output voltage (AC) of max. U = 120 V at a frequency of max. f = 100 Hz.
When the MAGIC SKY roof is actuated with the MAGIC SKY CONTROL button and circuit 15R is switched off, the MAGIC SKY roof is deactivated.
If circuit 15R is switched back on, the MAGIC SKY roof is reactivated.
