Remove/Install Upper Tank Cover - Ar64.20-P-1080W

	Removing
	Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts	Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts. Deburr repair panels.	See AS00.00-Z-0017-01A .
	Risk of fire and explosion caused by machining/treating magnesium components	Keep away from ignition sources and open flames.	See AS60.00-Z-0006-01R .
	Information on machining/treating magnesium components		See AH60.00-P-0023-01R .
1	Remove paneling in luggage compartment		See AR68.30-P-4600W .
2	Remove cover over tank cover.
3	Detach equipment bridge and lay back toward rear
4	Loosen bolts (1) and bolts (2) on tank cover and remove
5	Remove tank cover
	Install
6	Install tank cover	When installing tank cover the vehicle should be positioned on its wheels
7	Position tank cover (2) and tighten bolts (1).
8	Tighten bolts (1) and (2) on tank cover *	Observe tightening procedure, see: ↓

		Bolt, upper tank cover to Vario roof cross member	See *BA47.10-P-1009-01B .
		Bolt, tank cover to floor cross member	See *BA47.10-P-1010-01B .
9	Position and fasten equipment bridge
10	Install cover over tank cover.
11	Install paneling in luggage compartment		See AR68.30-P-4600W .
