	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73)	KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) only with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO).
2	Remove left and right cover at side from center console		AR68.20-P-2355RK
3	Remove screw/bolts (6)
4	Remove screws/bolts (7) and remove bracket (8)	Note installation position of bracket (8).
5	Remove cover (9)	To do so, release cover (9) at bottom and swivel out in direction of arrow (arrow B) until it is released at top and can be removed toward rear (arrow C). To swivel out, slightly open lid (10) to avoid any damage to the lid (10).
6	Pull cover (9) toward rear and disconnect electrical connectors (11)	To do so, pull cover (9) toward rear until electrical connectors (11) are accessible.
7	Remove automatic air conditioning control and operating unit (N22/7)	To do so, remove screws/bolts (12).
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Perform initial startup of automatic air conditioning control and operating unit (N22/7) with Star Diagnosis	Only when replacing automatic air conditioning control and operating unit (N22/7).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
