	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73)	KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) only with code (889) KEYLESS-GO.
2	Remove left and right side cover (2) from center console (1)		AR68.20-P-2355RK
3	Open roller blind (5) on rear stowage compartment (4)
4.1	Remove fire extinguisher and fire extinguisher mount (6)	With CODE 682 (fire extinguisher)
4.2	Unlock cupholder (7) and remove	With CODE 309 (cup holder)
5	Remove cover (8)	Mounting wedge	Figure
6	Remove rear stowage compartment (4)	To do this, remove bolts (9).
7	Remove screws/bolts (10)
8	Disconnect electrical connection (12)
9	Unscrew bolts (11) on left and right from center armrest (3)
10	Disconnect electrical connectors (14) at bottom of center armrest (3)	For this purpose lift center armrest (3) at front. Mark installation position. Observe markings.
11	Unclip center console stowage compartment anti-theft alarm system switch (S62/32)	For this purpose lift center armrest (3) at rear.
12	Remove center armrest (3)
13	Lift selector lever cover (15) at rear and unhook at front from center console (1)
14	Remove selector lever cover (15) electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5) and audio/COMAND control panel (A40/9)	Disconnect electrical connectors (16) from rear of selector lever cover (15). Mark installation position. Observe markings.
15	Disconnect electrical connectors (17, 18, 19)	Mark installation position. Observe markings.
16	Remove screw/bolts (20)
17	Unscrew bolts (21) and remove holder (22)
18	Disconnect a number of electrical connectors at rear of holder (22)	The number can vary according to the equipment. Mark installation position. Observe markings.
19	Disconnect electrical connector (23)
20	Disconnect electrical connector (24) from interior protection sensor (master) (A26/13)	With CODE 882 (interior monitoring (only with ATA()
21	Remove upper control panel cover (13)	Perform only operation steps required for removal of upper control panel cover (13).	AR82.85-P-1100RK
22	Lift center console (1) at rear and unhook at front
23	Expose all electrical lines on center console (1) and remove	Route electrical lines without chafing and fasten to intended attachment points.
24	Remove center console (1)
25	Install in the reverse order
