Remove/install left footwell bass speaker - AR82.62-P-7820RK

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Bring driver seat into the rearmost seat position    
2 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) IMPORTANT KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) only with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO).  
3 Remove brake pedal   AR29.10-P-4597RK
4 Remove accelerator pedal   AR30.12-P-1321RK
5 Remove Active Body Control control unit (N51/2) With code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC)) AR32.50-P-0023RK
6 Remove door sill molding   AR68.30-P-4100RK
7 Loosen rubber door seal (1) in area of left entrance    
8 Unclip floor covering (2) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Check clip (4) for damage, replace if necessary. Hook retaining hook (3) at door frame.  
9 Fold back floor covering (2) NOTES
Fold back floor covering (2) carefully. Otherwise the foam filling of the floor covering (2) can tear.
IMPORTANT Helper required for holding back the floor covering (2) during the further operation steps.
 
10 Remove footrest (5) IMPORTANT To do this, unscrew nuts (6).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Screw on nuts (6) in the correct sequence. To do so, note the markings on the footrest (5).
 
11 Disconnect electrical connector (7)    
12 Remove left footwell bass speaker (H4/42 or H4/88) IMPORTANT To do so, unscrew nuts (8).
IMPORTANT Depending on equipment installed, the left footwell bass speaker (H4/42 or H4/88) is installed.
 
13 Install in the reverse order
