	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Remove glove box		AR68.10-P-1400RK
2	Remove COMAND controller unit (4) until electrical connectors on the back of the device are accessible		AR82.85-P-1100RK
3	Remove right-hand side entrance strip		AR68.30-P-4100RK
4	Place floor covering (5) to one side in area of A-pillar
5	Disconnect plug (3) of WLAN antenna (1) from COMAND controller unit (4)
6	Cut electrical line (2) of WLAN antenna (1) on both ends as near as possible to the instrument panel wiring harness	The factory installed electrical line (2) is firmly integrated in the instrument panel wiring harness. Therefore, the defective WLAN antenna (1) must be detached for replacement. The factory installed electrical line (2) remains in the vehicle. The electrical line (2) of the new WLAN antenna (1) is routed with cable straps along the instrument panel wiring harness to the COMAND controller unit (4).
7	Remove WLAN antenna (1)	The WLAN antenna (1) is bonded to the body.
8	Clean bonding area of WLAN antenna (1)	The bonding area of the WLAN antenna (1) must be absolutely free of dust and grease. Otherwise adhesion problems of the adhesive material for the WLAN antenna (1) occur.
9	Install in the reverse order
