2	Check transition between front fender and front door (1)	The contour of the front fender must align with the contour of the front door (1) or project by a maximum of 1 mm.
3	Check transition between front door (1) and rear door	The contour of the front door (1) must align with the contour of the rear door or project by a maximum of 1 mm.

4	Open front door (1)
5	Mark position of lock striker (2)	Markings are present on the B-pillar serving for positioning and precise adjustment of the locking eye (2) in the horizontal and vertical planes. The self-made marking facilitates assembly of the lock striker (2).
6	Unscrew bolts (3) and remove locking eye (2)
7	Expose nuts (4) and nuts (5) on door hinge leaves in vehicle interior	When performing adjustment work on hinges halves on A-pillar.

8	Alternately loosen nuts (4) and nuts (5) until front door (1) can be moved	When performing adjustment work on hinges halves on A-pillar. During adjustment ensure that only nuts (4) or nuts (5) are loosened. Otherwise the front door (1) comes into contact with other components and the paint can be damaged.
9	Adjust gap dimensions by moving front door (1)	When performing adjustment work on hinges halves on A-pillar.

11	Alternately loosen bolts (6, 7) at upper and lower hinge leaves on front door (1) until front door (1) can be moved	When performing adjustment on hinge leaves on front door (1). During adjustment ensure that the bolts (6, 7) are loosened only on one hinge leaf. Otherwise the front door (1) comes into contact with other components and the paint can be damaged.
12	By moving front door (1), adjust transition between front fender to front door (1) and adjust door position in vertical direction	When performing adjustment on hinge leaves on front door (1). The contour of the front fender must align with the contour of the front door (1) or project by a maximum of 1 mm.
13	Tighten bolts (6, 7) on hinge leaves on front door (1)	When performing adjustment on hinge leaves on front door (1).

14	Position lock striker (2) on B-pillar and screw in bolts (3) to stop	Observe marking. It should still be possible to adjust the lock striker (2).
15	Adjust transition between front door (1) and rear door by moving locking eye (2)	The contour of the front door (1) must align with the contour of the rear door or project by a maximum of 1 mm.
