| 3 | Move rear floor covering (1) to one side | ||
| 4 | Place front floor covering (3) to one side | ||
| 5 | Remove air duct (7) | ||
| 6 | Unclip expansion clip (2) | Fig 2 | |
| 7 | Unhook cable clip (5) from cover on prefuse box (6) | ||
| 8 | Release battery cover (8) and place to one side with line attached | ||
| 9 | Remove shaped part (4) | ||
| 10 | Unscrew nuts (9) from cover on prefuse box (6) | ||
| 11 | Unhook electrical connection (12) and electrical line (11) from cover of prefuse box (6) | ||
| 12 | Remove cover from prefuse box (6) | ||

Risk of injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries | No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. | 14 | Disconnect positive line from prefuse box | *BA54.15-P-1001-01L | |
| 15 | Remove cable bracket (10) | ||
| 16 | Unscrew nut (13) | ||
| 17 | Release locks (15) and swivel bracket (20) with prefuse box (14) inwards in direction of arrow and out of the guide (16) | ||
| 18 | Unclip fuse holder (17) | ||
| 19 | Detach electrical connections (18) from prefuse box (14) | ||
| 20 | Release locks (19) and remove prefuse box (14) from bracket (20) | ||
| 21 | Change relays and fuses | When replacing the prefuse box. |
|
| 22 | Install in the reverse order |
