Remove/Install Rear Shock Absorber - AR32.25-P-0110GQX

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove side paneling in trunk Model 166.0 AR68.30-P-4800GQ
    Model 166.8 AR68.30-P-4800GQX
    Model 292 AR68.30-P-4800GQC
2 Remove bolt from rear end center assembly lining Model 292  
3 Unclip and remove rear end center assembly lining Model 292  
4 Remove seat cushion (1a) of backrest (1b) in 3rd seat row and fold forward Model 166.8
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, seat cushion to rear seat console		 *BA91.12-P-1004-03F 
5 Remove control units (2) with connected lines from carrier plate (2a) and place to one side Model 166.8  
6 Cut insulation mat (3) along the marked cutting line (3a) and fold up NOTES Carefully cut the insulation mat (3) and fold up. Otherwise the paint or the insulation mat (3) may get damaged.
NOTES The insulation mat must be sealed before installation.
Otherwise, proper operation can no longer be guaranteed.		  
7 Secure vehicle on vehicle lift   AR00.60-P-0100GZ
8 Detach rear complete wheel    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE   Model 166 AP40.10-P-4050EW
    Model 292 AR40.10-P-1100GQC
9 Remove fender liner in the rear fender   AR88.10-P-1400GQ
10 Release and disconnect electrical connection (4) Model 166, 292 with code 489 (AIRMATIC)  
11 Raise wheel suspension slightly at supporting joint    
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 10 62 00 Support plate   WS26.00-P-3309B
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 11 62 00 Major assembly mount NOTES Wheel suspension must be supported. Otherwise the steel spring may come out or the air spring can be damaged. WS01.00-P-0092B
12 Unscrew nuts (5a) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Self-locking nut, shock absorber to frame floor *BA32.25-P-1002-03K 
13 Remove bolt (5b) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Self-locking nut, shock absorber to spring control arm *BA32.25-P-1001-03K 
14 Slide damper (5) together and remove    
15 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Check     
16 Check shock absorber (5)   AR32.25-P-0121CW 
17 Install in the reverse order
