Remove/Install Multicontour Backrest Air Cushion - AR91.25-P-1740GQ

	Remove/install
1	Switch on ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)
2	Remove cover with padding from backrest at front	Model 166 with code 399 (Multicontour front seats with massage function) with code 401 (Climatised front seats) Model 292 with code 399 (Multicontour front seats with massage function) with code 401 (Climatised front seats) Cover has to be removed together with padding from front backrest frame.	AR91.18-P-1820GQ
3	Unclip electrical wiring harness (3) from front backrest frame and detach electrical lines from lumbar support unit (6)	Ensure correct routing of electrical wiring harness (3) and electrical lines. If necessary, the retaining clip and the cable tie must be replaced.
4	Remove driver multicontour seat control unit (N32/29) or front passenger multicontour seat control unit (N32/30) from front backrest frame
5	Disconnect pneumatic line (1) and pneumatic lines (2) from driver multicontour seat control unit (N32/29) or front passenger multicontour seat control unit (N32/30)	Pneumatic line (1) and pneumatic lines (2) must be carefully disconnected. Danger of breakage. Ensure correct routing of pneumatic line (1) and pneumatic lines (2).
6	Disconnect electrical connectors from driver multicontour seat control unit (N32/29) or front passenger multicontour seat control unit (N32/30)
7	Drill out rivets (4) on both side air cushions (5) from front backrest frame	Residues of rivets (4) must be carefully removed. Otherwise the front seat may be damaged.
8	Unhook lumbar support unit (6) from front backrest frame (arrows)	Ensure correct seating of lumbar support unit (6).
9	Remove lumbar support unit (6) and both side air cushions (5) from front backrest frame	The lumbar support unit (6) and both side air cushions (5) may only be completely replaced. Ensure that felt mat is seated correctly at lumbar support unit (6) and ensure correct installation position of both side air cushions (5).
10	Install in the reverse order
