| 1 | Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key at a location beyond transmitter range (at least 2 m) | ||
| Remove trim piece on instrument panel (1a) | |||
| 2 | Remove left side air vent (3) | AR68.10-P-1100GQ | |
| 3 | Remove adjuster (5) from instrument panel trim piece (1a) | ||
| 4 | Unclip instrument panel trim piece (1a) from instrument panel | Fig 1 | |
| 5 | Install adjuster (5) in mount of instrument panel | ||
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connectors from instrument panel trim piece (1a) | MODEL 166, 292 with CODE 876 (Interior Light package) | |
| 7 | Remove from instrument panel trim piece (1a) | ||
| Remove from instrument panel trim piece (1b) | |||
| 8 | Remove center air vent (2) | AR68.10-P-1150GQ | |
| 9 | Remove right side air vent (4) | AR68.10-P-1100GQ | |
| 10 | Unclip instrument panel trim piece (1b) from instrument panel | Fig 1 | |
| 11 | Disconnect electrical connectors from instrument panel trim piece (1b) | MODEL 166, 292 with CODE 876 (Interior Light package) | |
| 12 | Remove from instrument panel trim piece (1b) | ||
| 13 | Install in the reverse order |
