Enter the activation code provided in VeDoc and start with the update. Any error messages that may be displayed should be ignored. The update process can take a while to complete. The progress bar indicates how much has been completed. If there are multiple master DVDs, follow the instructions on the COMAND display.
9.2	Start the menu from the master USB stick and update the map data	Model 117, 156, 166, 172, 176, 190, 204, 205, 207, 212, 217, 218, 222, 231, 242, 246, 292, 463 For update with master USB stick (as from NTG 4.5). Enter the activation code provided in VeDoc and start with the update. The update process can take a while to complete. The progress bar indicates how much has been completed.

11	Switch off COMAND control unit
12	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key
