Remove And Install Wiper Arm - AR82.30-P-6100GQA

with CODE 874 (MAGIC VISION CONTROL, heated) 

	Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.	When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Switch on ignition, move left wiper arm (11) and right wiper arm (13) to park position
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)
3	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position	Model 166 as of 8/25/11 with code 874 (MAGIC VISION CONTROL, heated)	AR88.40-P-1000GQ
4	Detach weatherstrip (4)
	Left wiper arm (11)
5	Remove left cover (3)
6	Remove wiper arm cover (1) from left wiper arm (11)
7	Disconnect electrical connector (10) from left wiper arm (11)
8	Open lock (9) and detach water hose coupling (8) from left wiper arm (11)
9	Remove screw/bolt (12)
10	Remove cover over the nut (2) on left wiper arm (11)
11	Unscrew nut (2) on left wiper arm (11)	Nut on wiper motor shaft	*BA82.30-P-1002-01J
12	Remove left wiper arm (11)	Position left wiper arm (11) so that the distance dimension (A) is approx. 30 mm.

13	Unclip water deflector on left		AR88.85-P-2100RT
14	Carefully lift up air/water duct (17) until rubber grommet (6) is accessible
15	Remove wiring harness (7) with rubber grommet (6)	Make sure that the rubber grommet (6) is correctly seated and that the wiring harness (7) is correctly routed.
16	Remove left wiper arm (11)
	Right wiper arm (13)
17	Remove right cover (5)
18	Remove electrical connector (10) of right wiper arm (13) from holder and disconnect
19	Open lock (9) and detach water hose coupling (8) from right wiper arm (13)
20	Remove screw/bolt (14)
21	Remove covers from the nuts (2) on right wiper arm (13)
22	Unscrew nuts (2) on right wiper arm (13)	Nut on wiper motor shaft	*BA82.30-P-1002-01J
23	Remove right wiper arm (13)	Position right wiper arm (13) with aid of window markings (arrows).

24	Carefully lift up air/water duct (17) until rubber grommet (15) is accessible
25	Remove wiring harness (16) with rubber grommet (15)	Make sure that the rubber grommet (15) is correctly seated and that the wiring harness (16) is correctly routed.
26	Remove right wiper arm (13)
27	Install in the reverse order
