Location 

The electric differential lock control unit is installed in the spare wheel well in foam.

Task 

The electric differential lock control unit operates the multidisk clutch of the differential lock through the electric differential lock actuator (M46/3).

Coding 

The electric differential lock control unit can be coded and programmed, i.e. the entire control unit software can be updated.

CAN network 

The electric differential lock control unit is connected to the CAN network of the vehicle via the AMG CAN (CAN AMG) and exchanges data with other control units.

The following input signals are evaluated by the electric differential lock control unit and the corresponding output signals issued:
