| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector of left exhaust gas flap actuator motor (M16/53) | ||
| 5 | Release and disconnect electrical connector of right exhaust gas flap actuator motor (M16/54) | ||
| 6 | Release and disconnect electrical connector of center exhaust gas flap actuator motor (M16/55) | ||
| 7 | Support exhaust system (1) | ||
| 8 | Remove clamps (4) | *BA49.10-P-1005-02E | |
| 9 | Remove elastomer bearings (3) from exhaust system (1) | ||
| 10 | Remove exhaust system (1) downwards | ||
| 11 | Remove combustion and corrosion residue at separating points and flange connections | ||
| 12 | Check elastomer bearings (3) for damage | In case of a complaint ↓ Replace elastomer bearings (3). |

| 13 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 14 | Check installation position and unobstructed movement of exhaust system (1) | In case of a complaint ↓ Re-align exhaust system (1). |
