	Remove/install
1	Open Vario roof fully
2	Move left or right seat (1) upward and toward front
3	Move backrest to front
4	Remove safety clip (2), remove belt end fitting (3), and extend seat belt (4) on seat (1)
5	Remove screws/bolts (5) from guide rails	Bolt, seat to vehicle floor	*BA91.10-P-1007-01A
6	Move seat (1) to rear
7	Move backrest to rear
8	Remove screws/bolts (6) from guide rails	Bolt, seat to vehicle floor	*BA91.10-P-1007-01A
9	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003W
10	Separate frame floor assembly/driver seat airbag connecting point (X28/29), or frame floor assembly/front passenger seat airbag connecting point (X28/30) at bottom of seat (1)	The number of electrical connectors depends on the equipment installed.
11	Separate driver seat connector block (X55/3), or front passenger seat connector block (X55/4) at bottom of seat (1)	The number of electrical connectors depends on the equipment installed.
12	Disconnect electrical connector (7) from driver seat control unit (N32/1) or front passenger seat control unit (N32/2)	On vehicles with code (275) Memory package for electrically adjustable front seats
13	Remove seat (1) from vehicle	Carefully remove seat (1) from vehicle. Otherwise, components in vehicle interior will be damaged. Helper required. Ensure that lock pins of guide rails in vehicle floor are seated correctly.
14	Release and remove covers from guide rails
15	Position seat (1) and secure against tipping over
16	Install in the reverse order
