	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2.1	Raise vehicle.	Engine 178 in model 190 (except 190.381) with code 598 (Gasoline particulate filter (OPF) with sensor system) Only when removing the right gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/6).	AR00.60-P-1006A
2.2	Remove the front-right underfloor paneling.	Engine 178 in model 190.381 with code 598 (Gasoline particulate filter (OPF) with sensor system) Only when removing the right gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/6).	AR61.30-P-1001RG
3	Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) from the left gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/5) or right gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/6).
4	Remove screw (2) and remove bracket (3) from the pressure hoses (5).	Bolt, differential pressure sensor/holder to holder for pressure hoses	*BA07.04-P-1004-01Q
5	Remove quick clamps (4) and remove pressure hoses (5) from the differential pressure lines.	Only when removing the right gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/6). : Observe markings on pressure hoses (5) and install new quick clamps (4). : Wet fittings of outside differential pressure lines with lubricant. : Attach pressure hoses (5) to the differential pressure lines free of tension. 6	Remove clamps (7) and remove pressure hoses (5) from the left gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/5).	Only when removing the left gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/5). Commercially available devices/tools  Clamping pliers : Observe markings on the pressure hoses (5) and install new clamps (7). : Wet outside of fittings of left gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/5) with lubricant. : Attach pressure hoses (5) to the left gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/5) free of tension.
		Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L If the left gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/5) exhibits hairline cracks when loosening the clamps (7), ↓ replace left gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/5).	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
7	Seal openings with suitable stop plug.	Record plug	Fig 3
8	Remove screw (6) and remove left gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/5) and right gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/6).	Bolt, differential pressure sensor/holder to holder for pressure hoses	*BA07.04-P-1004-01Q
9	Install in the reverse order.

10	Connect diagnostic system, read out fault memory and clear if necessary.

	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
11	Perform engine test run. While doing so, check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.
