Remove/Install Steering Column Module - AR54.25-P-2802RG

	Remove/install
1	Perform initial startup of steering column tube module (1)
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory	Only when replacing steering column tube module (1).	AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2	Remove steering wheel		AR46.10-P-0100RG
3	Unclip leather sleeve (2) at left and right from instrument panel	Mounting wedge	Fig 1
4	Detach steering column tube module (1) with leather sleeve (2) from steering column tube	Do not operate the red safety catches in the steering column tube module (1). Otherwise the fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contacts (A45) may be destroyed. : Press steering column tube module (1) onto steering column tube until the assembly display located on the underside of the steering column tube module (1) is retracted.
5	Detach electrical connection from steering column tube module (1) and remove steering column tube module (1) with leather sleeve (2)		AR54.25-P-2802-02CW
6	Unclip leather sleeve (2) from steering column tube module (1) in direction of arrow	: Only when replacing steering column tube module (1).
7	Install in the reverse order	: When installing a new steering column tube module (1), remove transportation lock from steering column tube module (1).
